Bristol Valentine's Day rape on Crimewatch
The victim was a 16-year-old college student who was attacked in the early hours of February 14.
She had been out with friends and was approached from behind as she walked home. The suspect threatened to kill her and then dragged her into an alley where she was raped. It happened in Minto Road, St Werburgh's.
The attacker was in his mid-30s, of light-skinned mixed-race or Mediterranean appearance, with shortish curly dark hair.
He was clean shaven, of medium height and slim build with a thin face and clear complexion. He wore a dark, long-sleeved shirt with thin stripes or checked pattern on it and blue jeans. He spoke with a Bristolian accent.
Detective Inspector Will White will talk about the attack on the crime-solving show and new CCTV footage will be shown following the girl's movements before the attack. The film also shows other people that the police want to speak to.
The victim's mother will talk about the severe effect of the rape on her daughter and her family.
