Need to hear local voices

Paul Besley (Your Say, March 14) is right when he argues that Bridgwater's new Haygrove School site should be in the town and not on a more remote green field site.

As a psychiatric social worker of nearly 50 years, Paul's evidence against the folly of moving the school from its present site is compelling.

It can be hard to get local voices heard against the financial might of the county council's advertising budget, so informed voices such as this need to be heard.
