Look sweet on a bike made for four

Tuesday, July 07, 2009, 07:00

A new business is hoping to inject some fun back into Weston-super-Mare after setting up an attraction on the seafront.

Visitors to the resort can now enjoy rides along the promenade on four-wheeled bikes carrying between four and six passengers.

There are four bikes available in front of the Big Wheel with more on order to join the growing fleet.

Owner Mario Dolcezza said: "With the seafront enhancement scheme, the introduction of the Big Wheel and the re-building of The Grand Pier under way, it is now time to invest for the future of Weston.

"I see great times ahead for the town if we can keep this momentum going. I want to see people riding our bikes up and down the seafront.

"Older readers may remember similar bikes were available for hire in the town during the 1970's from a location at the rear of the Old Colonial Hotel when they were a great success, we hope to enjoy the same success with our new venture.

Opening times are dependent on weather call 07739 096255 for information.
