Six of the goals came in the first half as Saints attacked the Longwell goal from the first whistle.
Caitlyn Preston scored three times in the first five minutes to settle them down and Romany Cochrane struck her first of the season to put them well in charge. She followed it up moments later with her second, before Katie Hudson added a sixth for Saints with a well-taken goal.
Longwell came back with chances of their own after the break, while, at the other end, their keeper produced some stunning saves to prevent her side from falling further behind.
However, in the final minutes, a goalmouth scramble resulted in player-of-the-match Preston slipping the ball past the Longwell keeper for her fourth of the match, ensuring Saints remain in a comfortable position at the top of the table.
Longwell Green Under-15s turned in a terrific team performance to beat Bristol Ladies Union 4-1.
They had a few early chances before Lucy Werrett scored her first of the game by slotting the ball low into the corner of the net.
At the other end, the Longwell defence contained the Union attacks well, with Caitlin Saunders in outstanding form.
Keeper Victoria Dymond's handling was excellent, while Katy Vernon proved a driving force in midfield as Longwell led 1-0 at the break.
Werrett scored her second goal from a speculative shot just inside the area shortly after the interval, but Union refused to give up and they were rewarded with a long-range shot that went high into the net.
Two minutes later, Longwell regained their two-goal lead when Kelly Preston fastened on to Vernon's free-kick. After a frustrating first half for Amy Hardy, her persistence paid off when she slotted home the fourth goal from the edge of the area.
● In a friendly match, Frampton Rangers A Under-11s beat runaway Division B leaders Backwell 2-1 in an entertaining game.
All the goals came in the final five minutes. Backwell took the lead from an incisive counter-attack and unerring finish. Frampton rallied and, with only a few minutes remaining, a long shot from debutant Freya Ball had Frampton back on level terms.
Then, with virtually the last kick of the game, Maddison Buss's corner was volleyed in from close range by Annie Lewis for the winner. Frampton keeper Paige Botta performed well, and defenders Rosie Williams and Ellie Todd were also in good form.
Midfielders Buss, Chloe Fuller, Jess Jefferies and Freya Ball all enjoyed good games, as did matchwinner Lewis.
