Highlighting the challenges of learning difficulties

The group of eight worked with drama students from the City of Bristol College and professional film makers to make Working Together.
The film shows what it's like for people to have a learning difficulty and how some simple actions can make a difference in helping them become part of their local community.
Everyday tasks such as catching a bus can present a problem if a person can't read a timetable or is unsure where to get off the bus.
The film shows that a little consideration by other passengers can be a big help.
Those involved in the project have since become community champions, after completing a course learning how to teach others so they can explain more about the rights and needs of people with learning difficulties.
