Paulton Rovers boss: It's going to be a bit tight today
Paulton manager Andrew Jones believes that the facility will be '10 times smaller' than the League One Canaries are used to – although the hosts have gone out of their way to make it homely for their visitors by carrying out a steam clean earlier this week.
Still, it promises to be a tight squeeze for former Champions League winner Lambert, who is well aware of the effect that the luxury or otherwise of the changing room can have on a team's performance.
His first task as manager of former club Colchester was to make drastic changes to the changing rooms at the recently-built Weston Community Homes stadium in a bid to halt a poor home record that Lambert felt was some way explained by the tranquil surroundings of the away-team dressing room.
The Scotsman ordered that the area was halved in size, devoid of all electricity and painted a gloomy battleship grey.
Somerset-based Yeovil Town were one of the first sides to play at the venue after the changes were made. They lost 2-1.
Glovers boss Terry Skiverton said after the match: "I was angry with the way we played but I'm not blaming the changing rooms. My favourite ship is HMS Belfast, so the decor was right up my street!"
