Frome to stage Gare Hill event

The Frome club are to stage this year's Southern Experts Trial, in conjunction with the Blackmore Vale and Sunbean clubs, at Gare Hill, near Alfreds Tower, on the second weekend in December, and it is expected to attract a star-studded entry.

The major event locally this weekend is Mendip Vale's Brockley Cup, near Chilcompton, on Sunday.

The Bath Classic club are staging another of their popular British and non-modern bike trials at Perry's Farm, opposite Bath racecourse, Lansdown, on Sunday. Upwards of 60 riders will compete on a four-lap 10-section circuit.
