Rovers due Leeds win says Stuart Campbell
The Pirates were close to claiming their first win over the Yorkshire club since 1961 when the sides met at Elland Road early in the season.
But Jermaine Beckford benefited from a huge deflection and and a lucky rebound to make sure the Whites escaped with a point from a 2-2 draw.
"We feel a bit aggrieved that we've lost two and drawn one of the three encounters we've had with Leeds since they came down," said Campbell.
"They have had a bit of luck with a few deflected goals, so we'll be looking to address that today. It should be a cracking game."
Despite his double dose of good fortune earlier in the season, Campbell knows Beckford's 25 league and cup goals so far this term are more than just a fluke.
"Beckford is a big threat and his strike partner Luciano Becchio isn't the biggest but has a great leap on him. He scored a great goal against Oldham on Monday," said Campbell.
"But our confidence is high at the moment and we'll be looking to win to jump into the top half of the table and then push on from there."
Coach Paul Trollope hopes defender Danny Coles could return to the comeback trail in two to three weeks.
There are still doubts whether centre-back Coles will play again this season after suffering swelling to the problem knee that has kept him sidelined since October.
But the coach is encouraged that Coles will not need a third operation to cure his cartilage problem and that a specialist has confirmed his knee is structurally sound.
"The main thing is the specialist was happy that his knee was sound and there are no further problems, which is good news," said Trollope.
"But there was some inflammation that needed an injection to try and settle it down so he has got to take two or three weeks to try and let that go. We will reassess things then.
"The injection he has had is going to help it repair and clear it out a little bit as well.
"We are hoping after two or three weeks rest he is ready to continue his rehabilitation."
Coles had been back in training with the rest of the squad for a fortnight and had hoped to return to action with the reserves on Tuesday before suffering the latest setback.
Rovers' game at Swindon Town on Saturday, April 25 will now kick off at 12 noon at the request of the police.
