Two men on bicycle crash into car
A man suffered leg injuries after the bicycle he and a friend were riding collided with a car in Lawrence Hill, Bristol.
The incident happened just after 5pm on Thursday when the pair were riding a standard one-person bike. At the junction of Easton Road and Croydon Street they swerved and hit a black Peugeot.
Great Western Ambulance Service (GWAS) sent two rapid-response vehicles with paramedics and an ambulance to the scene.
They took the man, believed to be in his 20s to Bristol Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Emergency care practitioner Daryl Fitzgerald, who was on scene, said: "The two men on the bicycle can count themselves very lucky not to have suffered very serious injuries."
The other cyclist and the Peugeot driver were unhurt.
