First look at Cadbury plans
People in Keynsham have had their first look at the vision for the redevelopment of the Cadbury's Somerdale site.
Property consultants have worked with the chocolate company and BANES council to explore the potential of the historic patch of land on the town's edge.

Some 500 jobs are expected to be lost when Cadbury's closed down production of chocolate at Somerdale and moves the business to a new site in Poland.
By then, the land will have been sold to a developer who will knock the factory down and replace it with a new complex - most likely featuring shops, flats and offices.
But campaigners are still fighting to try and keep the area as a factory site, saying they want to retain the benefits it has for the town's economy.
They want to see a new-build factory alongside a museum to the history of chocolate-making in Bristol.
Dozens of Keynsham residents visited a display in a small room at the Keynsham Methodist Church yesterday, to see an outline for the 'vision' for Somerdale.
Many were underwhelmed by the lack of detail expressed in the plans, although Cadbury did explain that it was still early days for any proposals.
A spokesman said: "Cadbury has been discussing the future of our Somerdale site with various parties ever since we announced last year our intention to close.
"We therefore felt it was important to seek feedback from the people of Keynsham on the vision we have created along with BANES.
"This exhibition does not lay out in detail exactly how the site will look but it does give a broad vision of how we'd expect future developers to utilise the land.
"One of those areas would be the Fry Club where we have said from the beginning that we are committed to seeing this remain part of local community life."
Amoree Radford(CORR), a Keynsham resident who is leading the campaign to retain the production of chocolate at the Somerdale site, said: "These plans are so vague that you wonder what they're actually trying to get across to the people who live here.
"Our concern is that people who live in Keynsham would not even come here and have their chance to have a say on what was going to happen.
"This display doesn't tell us much really.
"What we want to do is show Keynsham off to the wider area to show how much this town has to offer."
Cadbury hopes to have initial approval of the vision for Somerdale by the end of next month and then plans to work with a developer to draw up a proposal for the site.

“Feeling the cold.
Today, in
my heart, there's
a delicate
sorrow; outside
a melancholy tries
to forget the
sound of a
manner that
now disappears,
while a young
bird escapes.....
