Yate Town confirm Mogg as new manager
The club's committee met on Thursday night to discuss Mogg's position after he failed to prevent them from being relegated from the Premier Division of the Southern League.
Initially appointed as caretaker to replace the axed Richard Thompson, the former Bristol City and Bath City goalkeeper couldn't halt the team's slide but impressed many within the club with the way he conducted himself.
"They have asked to stay on and I am happy to do so," said Mogg.
"Obviously, there are a few things to talk about but I have already got a few fingers in various pies with regards to bringing in new players, because the dressing room scenario needs to be changed totally.
"We need everyone singing from the same hymn sheet and then I can be judged on my own decisions."
Mogg will certainly want to initiate major changes after recently launching a stinging attack on the lack of professionalism among some of his players.
