Grantley Dicks is Yate's new assistant boss
Dicks, the brother of former West Ham defender Julian, was unveiled to the players when they reported back for pre-season training at Lodge Road last night.
"I have known Grantley since I was a 16-year-old trainee at Bristol City, so we go a long way back," said Mogg.
"He is a very loyal, trustworthy and enthusiastic guy, who works very hard and is passionate about the game.
"He was a coach with me at Hallen and has been doing a lot of coaching work in Bristol. He will be a great addition to the club."
Dicks has a wealth of experience of Southern League football, having played for Bath City, Chippenham Town and Weston-super-Mare.
On the playing front, striker Toby Colbourne has opted not to join the club just yet, while Jake Reid, who ended the season for Yate in good form, is having a trial at a League Two club, thought to be Rotherham.
Defender John McAlindon has joined from Western League side Bitton and Bath City youngster Caullum Stewart is having a trial.
Bristol-based defender Scott Brice has come under fire from Tiverton Town boss Martyn Rogers after his u-turn about joining the Devon club.
The former Yate Town player revealed last week that while he initially made a verbal promise to sign for Tiverton he opted instead to join Blue Square South club Weymouth after they made a late call.
"He's made me look silly and I have told him that," said Rogers. "I am a little bit peeved to be fairly frank. If I say something to somebody, I stick by it."
Former Bristol Rovers trainee Brice, 22, bought out his contract at Yate Town in order to leave Lodge Road.
