Keynsham are closing in on North Somerset title after latest success
Chew Magna, who had not lost at home since the start of May, were in the ascendency having dismissed the Ks for 163, Dave Filer taking 3-18.
However, other than Paul King with 38, the Ks' bowlers were rampant in Chew Magna's reply, youngsters Joe Tarring taking 3-13 and Matt Bancroft 3-19.
In the Ks' innings, youngster Alex Taylor top-scored with 45, with Matt Hill scoring 43. Lansdown remain in contention after victory by four wickets at Timsbury.
The Tims slumped after a second-wicket stand between George Tucker (25) and Ellis Grubb, who was unbeaten on 44.
Brislington remain rooted to the foot of the table after defeat by eight wickets at the hands of Midsomer Norton. Norton dismissed the Ironmoulders for 174.
Whitchurch remain top of Sunday Conference Division One after extending their unbeaten record to nine games, following victory by 87 runs at home to Downend.
Whitchurch slipped to 47-7. However, a 99-run eighth-wicket partnership between Tom Francis (50no) and Tom Filer (41) gave "The Village" a degree of respectability with a total of 157-8.
Downend were dismissed for 70, with Greg Hill the pick of the Whitchurch bowlers with 3-17.
Saltford Fairway recorded their second win over Bear Flat in 24 hours to ease their relegation worries.
Kevin Fletcher, more renowned for his batting skills, picked up the mantle due to his side's shortage of bowlers to finish with a career-best 5-26. The Bears were dismissed for 137, chasing 190 to win.
The game had appeared in the balance, with the Bears on 95-2, following a third-wicket partnership of 66 between Mike Colbeck (48) and Richard Wood (22). The Bears lost their last six wickets for just 33 runs. In the Salts' innings Wes Taynton made it seven half centuries for the season with 57. For Bear Flat, Rich Bahador produced career-best figures of 6-41. Clevedon cruised to a seven-wicket home win over bottom-of-the-table Dunkerton, after dismissing the visitors inside 27 overs, for just 67.
Peter Hancock (4-14) and Mark Bibbing (3-13) were the Seasiders' key bowlers.
Keynsham 2nds' indifferent form continued with a six-wicket defeat to Frome. Batting first, the junior Ks hit 153-7, with Les Hubbard unbeaten on 53. Yet the Showmen reached the target with 10 balls to spare.
In Division Two, second-placed Chew Stoke virtually ended Bitton's promotion hopes with a three-wicket win at The Hedgehogs.
Hugh Pearce, with an unbeaten 54, lit the Stokers' fire in chasing 143 to win.
United Bristol Hospitals lost their third game in succession, with an eight-wicket defeat at home to The Star of Bath. Winscombe eased their relegation worries with victory by 79 runs over Kilmersdon. Having been dismissed for 118, they bowled out Kilmerdson for 37.
Filton Wayfarers made it nine wins in succession to bolster their lead at the top of the Division Three table, following a 140-run success over relegation-threatened Exiles (Bath).
Batting first, the Wayfarers hit 251-5, Dan Brooker top-scoring with 100, including 13 fours and 3 sixes.
Barrow Gurney's promotion hopes took a dent with defeat at the hands of Grendel by six wickets.
The Chessmen captain Maurice Perl, having opted to field first, took 3-15 as Gurney were limited to 143-7.
In reply, Grendel were 144-4. Fourth-placed Failand and Portbury's four-game unbeaten spell came to an end after defeat by three wickets to Harptree Villages.
The Harps, battling to avoid the drop, showed commendable spirit, having been set 173 to win, skipper Phil Hogarth top-scoring with 50.
Failand & Portbury captain Steve Pursey had top scored in his side's total of 172-4, making 55.
There is little change at the top of Division Four, with victories for both Bristol Bangladeshis and Claverham. Bristol Bangladeshis maintained their four-point lead, with an exhilarating 51-run victory in a game producing nearly 550 runs against Winford 2nds.
The Bangladeshis posted 299-9, with Rubel Ahmed (55), Jalal Ahmed (50) and Tufayell Ahmed (55) making half centuries.
The latter followed up with 4-37 in Winford's reply of 248 all out.
For Winford, there were half centuries for Hayden Lyons (78) and Harry Lewis (53). Claverham were made to battle by bottom-of-the-table Easton Cowboys before coming out on top by three wickets.
Ryan Thorpe, a 17-year-old, was the Claverham hero with an unbeaten 78 for the Yatton-based club.
In the Cowboys' innings, Neil Boulton top-scored with 58 in their total of 124-8.
Bristol Indians remain in the promotion hunt after a five-wicket win at home to Portway. Brijesh Menon took 6-38 for the Indians as they dismissed "The Harbour Masters" for 143. Khalid Mohammed, with 41 not out, ensured the home side reached their target.
The Saturday Conference was decimated, with only two matches surviving the rain. Dyrham showed the benefit of their investment in covers by gaining a win by nine wickets over Backwell Flax Bourton to move clear at the top of Division One.
Set 129 to win, the Ds reached the target inside 20 overs, Matt Garland (53 off 33 balls) and Gavin Giles (49) putting on an unbroken 101 for the second wicket.
In the Flax innings, there was a 54-run first-wicket partnership, Joel Gibbard top-scoring with 27.
Also in Division One, Saltford Fairway made it five home wins in succession with a 72-run victory over Bear Flat.
Kelvin Whyte took a career-best of 5-10, including a hat-trick. The Salts posted a total of 175.
