Trespassing cats . . . we need a new law

Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 08:36

I feel I must write in reply to 'Let's Nail the Cats for Trespassing'.

Some time ago someone wrote in your paper from Brislington stating if cats should come on to your garden or get into your house you should be able to shoot them.

How people keep these smelly horrible pets I don't know. They mess anywhere and kill our birds. If you should be unlucky to go into someone's house who have cats (sometimes they have more than one) the smell stays on your clothes. In fact I have been sick when I go home.

Come on people, it is time that a law is passed so that cats trespassing on private land were rounded up and destroyed. The sooner the better.

Alan, Brislington.

Manchester is getting a congestion charge, and Bristol could also have one by 2014? Do you think it will work in Bristol?
