It is late but give them all a medal
I WOULD just like to say what a moving story in the Post on September 5 from ex-Bomber Command George Rudge.
Why has it taken so long to say thank you to all those young men who gave their lives for us in Bomber Command?

These young men should have had a medal years ago, not now, that's if they ever get one. Some sports people, cricketers/footballers and show people get awards or are knighted, but without these young boys, because that's what they were, they would not have been here.
I am sure that I speak for a lot of people when I say a big thank you to George and all those young men for what they did for us.
