Two injured in crash

HENGROVE: A driver and his passenger were cut from a car after a two-vehicle crash on Hengrove Way.

The accident happened just after 8pm on Friday, leaving the man and his female passenger, both in their 20s, with suspected neck and back injuries.

Although they were not trapped, the roof was cut away to make it easier to get them out with the use of a harness.

They were then taken to hospital for treatment.
