Four injured as collision between coach and cars closes M4 motorway
Four people were taken to hospital after a coach and three cars collided on the M4 near Bristol yesterday.
A further 29 patients – including all the occupants of the coach and a family of four in one of the cars – were assessed and treated at the scene.

The incident happened at 2.30pm on the westbound carriageway between junctions 19 and 20. Occupants of two of the cars were reportedly trapped in their vehicles, which had rolled over.
The four people injured were taken to Frenchay Hospital. The most seriously injured was a woman with chest injuries, including potential broken ribs. None of the injuries are believed life-threatening.
