Three in hunt for league title
The battle for the Bristol & District Snooker League Premier Division looks set to be between three teams – last season's champions Pot Black club A, Long Ashton British Legion and Page Club A.
Pot Black took 10 points from two matches and moved one point ahead of Long Ashton, who dropped a point after beating Warmley 4-1.
Page won 4-1 against Masters Club A, while fourth-placed Dundry went down 3-2 against fifth-placed St Annes Club A. The results meant an eight-point gap has opened up between the top three and the rest of the Premier Division.
