I hope Bristol plan changes for the play-offs
Although they got another bonus point, Bristol's win over Plymouth last weekend was a little close for comfort.
And while they are playing with a lot of ambition at the moment – kicking for the corners and all the rest of it – I hope they are not going to play that game-plan when they get to the play-offs.

What they don't have at the moment is an 80 or 85 per cent goal-kicker. And when it comes to the play-off semi-final and final, I certainly can't see them kicking for the corners.
I am not having a go at Adrian Jarvis, but the fact is your goal-kicker can be the difference between winning and losing. It is all well and good at the moment, but I am not sure a 60 per cent kicker will be enough to win those tight, gritty play-off battles.
I expect the game-plan to change against the better sides, and one of the main reasons we were relegated last season was that we didn't have an 85 per cent goal-kicker.
There is some great rugby being played at the moment, and Jarvis' kicking from hand is world-class, as Paul Hull said last week. But from the floor, it is not, and Plymouth came pretty close to winning at the Memorial Stadium last week.
It is all about winning games this season – and you don't get bonus points in the play-offs semis and final.
I am sure the kickers are all working really hard – and I was so happy when Jarvis converted that first try at the weekend. But he then went and missed a couple.
This is definitely not a witch-hunt – I just want Bristol to do well. And, at the moment, I would say it's a bit worrying seeing all those missed conversions.
I am sure Hully must realise we are going to need an 85 per cent kicker come the play-offs – but do we have one? If I was the coach, I would certainly be a bit worried.
I remember playing in a Bristol side with Jason Strange – and you knew that he would find the middle of the posts more often than not.
I just worry that, while Bristol are playing good attacking rugby and scoring plenty of tries now, they might find themselves in an uncomfortable position if they're 6-5 down and chasing the play-off semi-final.
It is a point that needs addressing now – because there can be no guarantees they will simply be able to outscore teams on tries when it gets to the business end.
One aspect of last week's game that did impress me, from a Bristol point of view, was that Paul Hull sent on Mako Vunipola and Darren Barry even though it was a tight game.
I was commentating for BBC Radio Bristol and I thought 'he's not going to put the youngsters on, because it's a bit of a sticky situation here'.
But on they went – and that will prove to Mako and Darren that the head coach has confidence in them. That sends out a really positive message to every kid in the Academy.
