Bristol man grew cannabis factory in child's bedroom

A Bristol man has admitted creating a cannabis factory in a child’s bedroom at his home.

Curtis Tanner, 21, of Kenmare Road, Knowle, pleaded guilty last Friday to a charge of cultivating 14 mature cannabis plants when he appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

Crown Prosecutor May Li said the plants could yield 776g of the drug if they reached full maturity.

Magistrates bailed Tanner to return to court to be sentenced at a later date.
