I am seeking any old Fonthill School pupils who can help with a book I am trying to write.

I went to Fonthill from September 1957-July 1963, so there must be quite a few people who knew me.

I was Joan Wheatley and I lived at 2, Knighton Road.

I have met the headmaster Mr Dand, who gave me a lot of old books to look through to start me off.

The school opened in 1931 in Ascot Road, Southmead, in a tin hut before the building work started on the school.
