The GP Care Pharmacy in Weston Road is offering the free checks until Sunday.

All measurements take place in a private consulting room so weights and measurement details stay top secret.

People identified as being overweight or obese will be encouraged to take action and make appropriate changes to their lifestyles.

GP Care pharmacists are trained to offer expert advice and help to customers who want help to lose weight and have a range of programmes available.
