BRISTOL PREMIER COMBINATION: A 4-2 home win against Hartcliffe boosted Wick's bid for Premier Division honours under new player-coach Kevin Pollard, who has linked up with manager Gary Johns.

Ben Burrell, Matt Denton, Jamie Caddick and Danny Beer were on target for Wick, with substitute Chris McDonald and Mitchell replying for the visitors.

Seymour United took a five-point lead at the top of Division I thanks to a 3-0 win at Henbury Reserves, who remain anchored at the foot of the table.

Craig Woodman netted with a header and a penalty, and later missed a second spot-kick, after Shaun Humphreys had added the third goal.

A 7-1 home romp against Greyfriars Athletic lifted Shaftesbury Crusade to second place. Kevin Mills led the scoring spree with a hat-trick, while goals from Shane Hobbs (2), Wayne Fieron and Nicky Gregory completed the misery for the Friars, whose consolation effort came from David Percival-Gilbert.
