Josh hammers a hat-trick as Warmley Rangers turn on the style to thrash Brislington
Game one was full of inventive football from Warmley as Tom Withers (2), Charlie Shail, Jake Lacey and star man Joseph Vincent eased them to a 5-0 success.
Rangers also dominated the second match, a superb hat-trick from man-of-the-match Josh Haynes, two well-taken goals from Harry Farrell and the other from Tyrell Squire sealing a 6-2 victory.
Goalkeeper Joe Naish was in excellent form for Warmley and could do nothing to keep out Brislington's two strikes.
Bitton just managed to squeeze through two tough encounters against Keynsham Town Juniors with a 5-3 aggregate win in an enthralling Division A fixture.
They started the first game brightly and slick passing and cool finishing allowed them to race into an early lead, with a Reon Dawes double and Harry Bullard's strike.
Keynsham's second-half persistence paid off with three goals to draw level and a draw was on the cards until the lively Dawes completed his hat-trick to give Bitton a deserved 4-3 win.
The second game was tight, with Bitton dominating large periods but Keynsham always dangerous on the break.
Bitton found it hard to break down a stubborn Keynsham defence until the persistence of Nathan Goodwin-Worrell gave them a 1-0 win.
Ashton Boys A secured an impressive 6-2 win in their Division A clash with Deerswood.
Adam Rees put Ashton in front in the first minute, but Deerswood hit back to lead 2-1. The scoring continued at a rapid pace and further Ashton goals from Sam Harding, Ryan Meacham and Liiban Ibrahim ensured they led 4-2 at half-time.
The second half was less frenetic, but Liiban added another late on to complete the scoring.
The second game was settled by a solitary first-half goal from Louis Snailham, although both teams played excellent football, with Toby Virjee and Leon Paul outstanding in defence for Ashton, while Jamie Haynes produced some superb saves to keep his first clean sheet.
In Division B ,Thornbury Falcons left it to the second game of their fixture with Longwell Green to ensure an emphatic 9-1 overall victory.
The first match was closely-fought, Wilson and Alexander, with a late winner, ensuring Falcons went into game two with a 2-1 advantage.
Falcons got their passing game together from the start of the second match, Stewart firing five of the goals and Manley and Moseley hitting the target in a 7-0 success.
Mangotsfield United beat Stoke Lane 5-3 in Division C.
Field flew into a 3-0 lead thanks to a splendid Harry Haughton hat-trick and, although Tom Rollings pulled one back for Lane with a cool finish. Louis Jeffrey's strike clinched a 4-1 platform to take into game two.
Lane went 2-0 up in the second match through an excellent Lewis Hedges effort and an unfortunate own goal from the visitors.
Mangos pulled one back through Edward Baker's powerful header, while great defending by Joshua Elgood and man-of-the-match William Young denied Lane further goals.
