Fifty from Jones helps Almondsbury to Plate semi-finals
Almondsbury raced to 140-1 after being put into bat and successfully defended that total to win by 35 runs against Gloucestershire opponents Cam.
Elsewhere at Under-17 level, Bedminster overcame the Bristol West Indians to win their quarter-final in the South West Glass Knockout Cup.
Bristol West Indians were skittled out for 112 before Bedminster passed that target to finish 116-2 and win the clash by eight wickets.
Bedminster will be joined in the last four by Chipping Sodbury (137-5), who overcame Rockhampton (133-7) by five wickets.
Sodbury were following up on their league success of seven days earlier, when a Jack Townsend hat-trick helped them restrict Downend to 130-7 in Section B, before they surpassed this total for the loss of just two wickets (134-2).
They were unable to maintain the winning habit two days later, when they were skittled out for 147 when set a run chase of 156 by rivals Coalpit Heath.
In Section C, Bristol West Indians set a challenging total of 171 for the loss of eight wickets against Lansdown and were clinical with the ball to skittle their opponents out for 109 and win by 62 runs.
Pak Bristolians were also in winning form. After reaching 139-7, they completed a 55-run victory by bowling Marshfield out for 84.
Jez Howell was in imperious form for Whitchurch as they saw off Hanham by 17 runs.
Howell top-scored with an impressive 48 to lead Whitchurch to 124-9. He then managed three stumpings as Tom Filer recorded impressive figures of 3-25 to help bowl Hanham out for 105.
In Section E, good knocks from George Parsons (57 not out) and Ben Stevenson (43no) were not enough to help Portishead to victory over Stoke Bishop. Chasing 123, they were beaten as they finished on 119-2, four runs short.
Lindsay Margerison, however, helped Portishead to victory four days later by posting impressive figures of 4-5 to restrict Lodway to 31-9. Portishead passed the total easily enough to win by six wickets.
Bristol YMCA were knocked out of the Nationwide Building Society Under-15 National Cup by Hatherley & Reddings.
YMCA managed to reach 116-7 before their opponents surpassed the total for the loss of just two wickets.
Winterbourne were also knocked out at the quarter-final stage by Somerset side Witcombe. Winterbourne reached 96-9 but Witcombe made light of that total to reach 100 and win by seven wickets.
Knowle progressed to the semi-final of the Urban Windows Under-15 Knockout Cup with a ten wicket victory over Brislington after skittling their opponents out for just 60.
They will be joined in the final four by Bishopston A after Joe Wenham's unbeaten 51 helped them surpass Bedminster's 74, in which Dominic Blake made 43, by nine wickets.
Fergus Manners did most of the damage by claiming three wickets from just 12 balls.
In Section A of the Under-15 League, Almondsbury secured a 13-run victory over Frampton Cotterell. Old Down, helped by an unbeaten 51 from George Williams, reached 130-3 to secure a 24-run success over Patchway (106-7). In Section B, Thornbury Blue (114-6) scored a comfortable 49-run victory over Pucklechurch (63 all out).
In Section C, Coalpit Heath (127) managed a narrow nine-run success over Chipping Sodbury A (118).
Lewis Pierre's half-century took Bristol West Indians to 158-5, which was enough to seal a Section D victory over Shirehampton (144-7).
Old Bristolians Westbury secured a seven-wicket win over Bishopston B in Section E, but were unable to follow up against Claverham in their next match, where they suffered a two-wicket loss after reaching 111-8.
In Section F, impressive knocks from Joshua Coombes (59) and Jordan Smith (50no) were not enough to prevent Bitton from suffering a five-wicket defeat at the hands of Pak Bristolians.
Bristol YMCA B cruised to a 144-run victory over Winterbourne C and Pak Bristolians' Subhan Razaq made 61 as his side beat Whitchurch by 17 runs.
Frenchay Blue triumphed in the MCC Spirit of Cricket Under-13 National Cup with a seven-wicket win over Stoke Bishop B in the Gloucestershire area quarter-final.
In the Frank Benner Under-13 Cup quarter-final, Nick Sealey recorded impressive figures of 4-19 to help Twyford House on their way to a 12-run win over Bishopston A.
Frenchay Red will join them in the final four after a 10-run success over Almondsbury.
In league action, Almondsbury (152-4) enjoyed a comfortable 94-run win over Chipping Sodbury B in Section A. Coalpit Heath A (168-3) beat Old Down (113-8) by five wickets and then followed up with a 96-run victory over Chipping Sodbury B.
James Bracey scored an unbeaten 76 to help Winterbourne A to a 47-run win over Rockhampton. Pucklechurch scored a seven-wicket success over Frampton Cotterell in Section B, while Hambrook beat Carsons/Mangotsfield by 54 runs in Section C. Matt Scott scored an unbeaten 60 to lead Lansdown to a 102-run victory over Bristol Pakistanis in Section D.
Bristol Pakistanis (63-9) also suffered an eight-wicket defeat at the hands of Bitton (65-2) while Hanham (71-3) beat Frenchay Green (67-9).
In Section F, Pak Bristolians were grateful to Tabish Khan for a knock of 51 as they triumphed over Bishopston B by 55 runs.
Bishopston B (54-6) also suffered a 48-run reverse at the hands of Stoke Bishop A. Portishead (123-4) beat Long Ashton A (106-9) in the only action in Section F.
Winterbourne A progressed to the semi finals of the Dave McCarthy Under-11 Knockout Cup with a seven wicket success against Frenchay.
They will be joined by Bristol West Indians, who racked up 91-2 to beat Nailsea by eight wickets.
In the league, Thornbury (153-2) beat Winterbourne (42-5) by 111 runs in Section A. Thomas Barrett managed 2-17 to help Coalpit Heath (132-5) beat Almondsbury by 73 runs.
In Section B, Downend (123-8) overcame Bristol Phoenix (86-7) by 37 runs.
In Section C, Whitchurch (103-7) secured a three-wicket victory over Stapleton (102-6).
Twyford House (95-2) beat Knowle (91-7) by eight wickets in Section D. In Section E, Gordano Downs successfully defended 147 to beat Bristol YMCA B by 44 runs.
