Not as grand as it would appear
YOU recently ran a story about the "grand opening" of Lakeshore in Bristol.
However it's not all as "grand" as it would appear.
I have lived here since September 2012 and there are horrendous issues.
And the customer service from UrbanSplash and Aster Homes has, in my opinion, been appalling.

One of my neighbours has had sewage leaking through his ceiling for months and nothing has been done.
The security guards employed to look after the building and its residents are simply policing the residents themselves.
I've been shouted at on many occasions.
We are now at the end of the "defect period" yet despite reporting defects to our properties nothing has been done to rectify them.
Upon moving in many people subsequently had to purchase expensive blinds for the windows despite never being informed they were necessary.
The lifts are always breaking down.
We were all informed that bills would be cheap due to it being an "eco friendly" building yet they are expensive.
Also had reports of people's water bills ranging from £25 to £100 for the same sized apartments with the same number of people.
I'm now hearing reports from residents on the lower levels that their windows are scratched and damaged and again nothing has been done.
The front gates have now been broken for over a week so remain open constantly.
I have suffered a puncture on my car due to workmen leaving nails etc all over the car park (the car park itself is filthy).
Not to mention the rubbish that's been left in the lake. The list goes on.
I don't want to give my name for fear of reprisal from the Lakeshore .
I feel this should all be brought into the open before any other poor soul decides to buy a place here and then has to endure one problem after another!
An unhappy resident!
