Two-goal Joe sparks Keynsham to victory

Joe Osborne struck twice to lead Keynsham Town A to a 3-0 win over Almondsbury A in Division I.

Chris Courtney's excellent through balls were converted either side of half-time by Osborne to put the home side in control.

Adam Salvage and Joe Money worked tirelessly to keep a clean sheet for Keynsham, who sealed victory with a long-range strike from Matt Curnock.

In Division II, Oldland Abbotonians hammered Warmley Rangers 8-2, with a man-of-the-match performance from Trevon Morne.

Midway through the first half the two sides were locked together at 2-2, with Oldland netting through Oliver Sidwick and Morne. Then Abbotonians took control, building a 5-2 half-time lead thanks to goals from Morne, Will Harrison and Luke Dix.

After the break, substitute Zion Duharty scored his first goal for the club, Declan Cooper converted a Dix corner and Dix rounded off victory with a solo effort.

Division IV leaders Rockleaze Rangers proved too strong for bottom side Lockleaze United, running out 11-1 winners.

They opened the scoring with a superb strike from Charlie Taylor and extended their lead through Jack Welch. Taylor and Welch (2) added further goals before a spirited Lockleaze team pulled one back following a great strike from Curtis Mitchell. A precise shot from Jack Milllar and Ollie Lloyd's superb header from effervescent George Farrow's pinpoint crosssaw the visitors end the first half with a 7-1 lead.

Lockleaze's determined defence kept Rockleaze at bay for long spells, but the visitors managed to add second- half goals through a quickfire double from Harry Persad, a precise finish from Millar and a Pat Spokes tap-in.

Shire Colts B beat Downend Saints 7-1 in Division V.

Shire started the game well and led 3-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Dan Warren, James Bojski and Jotham Bowyer.

Colts continued their great team performance into the second half scoring a further four goals through George West, Sam Khavandi, Harry Maggs and Dan Warren.
