New management team at DRG Stapleton

DRG Stapleton have appointed former Mangotsfield United Reserves duo Tim Britton and Neil McKeown as their new management team.

They will replace Simon Bloodworth, Justin Bishop and Andy Mathias, who endured a season-long struggle around the foot of the Gloucestershire County League table.

Former manager John McArthur replaces Tony Kissoon as chairman.

Club stalwart McArthur admitted: "The club as a whole had entered freefall and changes urgently needed to be made.

"That said, we improved towards the end and that was largely down to the efforts of Justin and Andy and the players they brought in."
