My father was a founder member
I WAS interested to read Dr Matthew's letter (BT, Dec11) about the return of the ss Great Britain to Bristol.
Over the years I have met most of the key players responsible for her return, including Sir Jack Hayward.
My late father, Eric Gadd MBE, was one of the founder members.
The return of this great vessel was a truly a team effort by lots of people, including my father and members of the Brunel Society.
