Stomping Stories Valentine Special
Guess How Much I Love You
Thursday 14th February
Join us at Arnos Vale for a valentines special walk for primary aged children. Explore the heart warming tale of the Nut Brown Hares and make a special valentines gift to take home.
Sometimes when you love someone very, very much, you want to tell them how great your feelings are. But, as Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare discover, love is not an easy thing to measure. Explore this beautifully illustrated story about the things that make the world go round and join in the story by measuring all sorts of things, not just love.
Booking in advance is essential as places are limited.
As Arnos Vale is an outdoor site, to ensure you and your family have a safe and comfortable time, please come dressed for all weathers.
This walk will start at the Spielman Centre and then will continue outdoors. The route may be muddy but it is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
HOW TO BOOK
Tickets are £3 per child (children must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are available from our Gift Shop, which is located in the East Lodge building, to the left as you enter Arnos Vale through our main gates just off the Bath Road. The Gift Shop is open seven days a week from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Alternatively give our Booking Office a call on 0117 9719117 extn 214.
You can also buy your tickets via the Paypal link on our website: http://tinyurl.com/a3emzkk and tickets posted to you. Please bear in mind that if you require your tickets to be posted there will be an additional £1.50 to cover the P&P costs.
Whilst you are here why not pop in to The Atrium Cafe in the Spielman Centre which is now open everyday from 10am to 4pm.
The seasonal menu includes classic sandwiches on artisan bread, grilled paninis, homemade soup, ploughmans' lunch, charcuterie plates and sensational salads. Choose from tea, infusions, espresso, cappuccino, mocha, latte and a range of soft drinks including ginger beer, old fashioned lemonade, elderflower and dandelion and burdock. The cafe is licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a local ale or west country cider with your lunch. Kids can enjoy small portions of anything from the menu and everyone can indulge in a slice of cake or a freshy baked treat. The cafe is operated by Whisk!, the Bristol catering company who look forward to welcoming you soon.
