MOVED to a weekend date to meet public demand, Medaltastic! is a fun opportunity for children to meet the nations sporting heroes from Team GB. This unique half term opportunity for children to meet the Medal Winners from the summer. There will be a meet and greet to enable children to have their photos taken with, and get their autographs from, the Medallists, the chance to create the stage show props and also write questions to be asked of the attending Athletes. Then, the following interactive 45 minute stage show will retell the story of the summer of 2012, from Torch Relay in Bristol to the closing ceremony of the Paralympics all recreated with the aid of audience members including the moment the medals were won. It was a summer to remember but for the Athletes the work begins again as they strive towards Rio. In this light hearted chat show format we will look back with the Team GB Medallists and how they brought success to the nation and look at what life has been like since but also give the audience the chance to generate their own questions.
