The best way to shake away the January blues!
We all know that kids love to hula hoop and you'll be surprised to see how many adults do too! Hula hooping is a great way to have fun, and improve fitness at the same time.
Hazey's hoopdance workout is inspired by elements of Vinyasa yoga, contemporary dance, and Hazey's own circus act which reaches its climax with Hazey hula hooping, while hanging by her ankles – upside down.
Hoopdance burns 100 calories every 10 minutes, just as much as running.
Hazey says, "Hoopdance tones your core, glutes, and thighs reshaping ladies in all the right places – when I started hula hooping, I dropped two dress sizes. It's fluid, graceful, and it's a lot more fun than sweating away in the gym or jogging for an hour and a half. Although hoopdance is a great way to get some exercise, it can also give people a sense of peace and radiance. Hoopdance is a life-affirming stress reliever."
