From January 2013, What The Frock! will be taking up a monthly residency every fourth Friday night, filling the stage of the Square's Lower Deck Bar with the very best female comedians from around the country for your laughing pleasure right here in the heart of Bristol!

Previous What The Frock! nights have brought award-­winning comedians including Tiffany Stevenson, Danielle Ward, Kate Smurthwaite and Rosie Wilby to Bristol.
January 24th 2013

The first What The Frock at The Square Club will be January 24th 2013! Tickets will be on sale from us soon. In January you can expect to hear the comical delights from the following talented women comedians:

Blod Jones

Blod is a new commer to the comedy scene, but don't let this fool you. Her likable, relaxed stage presence, and with her quick wit and self-deprecating observations, she is rapidly making a name for herself on the comedy circuit.

To date she has gigged at TNT, Jesters, Brighton Squawker Awards, Freedom Fringe, Free and Funny, Party Piece, Comedy Virgins, Anar Comedy and Stand Up & Deliver. Blod will be opening What The Frock comedy night at The Square, tackling important issues such as being Welsh and living in London, and life as a ginger singleton!


Jayde Adams

Jayde Adams is a Bristolian muti-faceted comedian. A talented lady who's skills range from opera, beat boxing, competitive dancing, playing the piona and looking excellent dressed as a leopard.

Having performed all across the UK and most recently at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Jayde is bringing her highly acclaimed act to What The Frock in January.

Elf Lyons

Since starting stand-up at the age of 17, Elf has tried to balance being the perfect comedian, daughter and drama student and is finally able to focus on her comedy career after graduating from Bristol University this July.

During her final year at Bristol University Elf was an active Member of The Square Club, either hosting her comedy nights or furiously completing degree work throughout the day. Elf's hard work paid off greatly as we welcome a rising start to compere the first What The Frock event here!
