Tokyo based Adam Smith of PePoMo and Julie McCalden, artist and Director of Bristol's Motorcade/FlashParade discuss their socially engaging practices. Each artist considers the sociopolitical structures in which we live and responds by producing work that calls the viewer-participant to re-evaluate their presumptions. Playful and inventive, these artists engage with fictional narratives as a means for us to question the world in which we exist.
