Gloucestershire Youth League: Tristan Day's double helped Winterbourne United to a 3-1 victory over Longwell Green Sports in the weekend's only league match.

The sides were deadlocked at 1-1 at half-time, with Jamie Wright on target for Longwell and Day scoring for Winterbourne.

But Winterbourne took charge after the break with Day grabbing his second goal from the penalty spot and Khalil Lamri also on target.

In a dramatic midweek clash, Oldland Abbotonians almost threw away a four-goal lead at Forest Green Rovers, who roared back to equalise before the visitors snatched a 5-4 victory. Sam Lee (2), Jed Kendal, Sam Elliott and Joe Chandler grabbed the Oldland goals.
