Officers should be allowed second jobs

So the Evening Post has 'learned' that some police officers have other jobs. So what! A man is entitled to do what he wants in his own free time.

Maybe we should stop them playing sport or training in case it 'tires them out'. Maybe we should stop them going to the cinema or theatre or watching TV late at night for the same reason.

Maybe we should prevent them feeding their young or comforting them in the middle of the night in case they are tired next morning on early shift. I believe these sort of 'stories' add nothing to the public good at all.
