Unbeaten St Anne's Club A went to the top of the Premier Division of the Bristol & District Snooker League with a fine 4-1 win over Dundry British Legion.

Dundry, who also lost 4-1 against St Anne's B team, dropped to fifth place.

Reigning champions British Legion, who were beaten by Eastville Club B last week, lost again – this time 4-1 against fast-improving Page Club A.

There were also some surprise results in the other divisions.

In Division I, after five successive victories Pot Black B lost their first match of the campaign – 3-2 against Somerville Club.

In Division II, previously unbeaten Page Club D went down 3-2 to Fry's Club, giving Fry's their first win of the season.
