“Someone said they had been stolen. They were unscrewed and taken down in the night by PRSC.

Shouldn't the police be on to this ?”

    “For Your Information:
One of the spray painters \ graffiti 'artists' (presumed to be part of the PRSC cult) was seen taking these signs away 6 weeks ago.

Even though there's CCTV in the 'bear pit' – and the long suffering council taxpayers of Bristol have paid for these signs - Not a peep from the council.”

“Of course, you'd have to explain to the PRSC dossers that "Public convenience" isn't just posh talk fro "shop doorway"...”

“You mean somebody misses those hideously huge loo signs? Surely the biggest in the world? (complete with errant apostrophes)”

“Well Glen, those loo signs did let people know the where the loos are, and their opening hours, facilities, etc.

Just because someone's not keen on something doesn't mean they have the right to steal it ? It's this kind of arrogance that means a few criminal minded individuals can takeover a community.

Also, these signs were, as you say, large. So were probably worth as bit, and paid for by the Bristol council taxpayer. So why hasn't the council taken any action over this theft?
In fact, it's inaction could be seen as a dereliction of duty, and leave those who decided to take no action liable to prosecution.

“Were the signs metallic? If so, they were probably stolen and sold to scrap metal dealers. Metals are very highly priced on the commodities markets at the moment.”
