“Don't you mean to ask if anyone can recommend somewhere to spend the evening of Saint Valentine's Day?

A 'nice evening in Bristol for Valentines Day' would be the 14th February, surely?

And how is it not possible to recommend a 'nice' evening. If I recommended something that was not 'nice' then it wouldn't be a recommendation, would it?

    Standards!!”

“Zazu's kitchen on gloucester road. Lovely atmosphere and the foods amazing, probably best to book.

Yeah A_Mushroom thanks for keeping up everyones' standards.

PS They're not even sure who Saint Valentine was (think there's two candidates) and for that matter I'm not sure he's included in the catholic e***enical calendar so your speel is both condescending and wrong!”

“Valentines night or Saint Valentines night, stay at Holiday inn Bristol City Centre, they have a restaurant called the Spot with wall to ceiling windows, fab rooms and really good rates.

they sent me a Valentine menu as I have stayed before I am going, call James he was great when I called and booked the room and meal, really worth going.”

“So what was your decision in the end? Do tell!

And Katie66 did James live up to your expectations with a meal & a room this year? ;)”
