“"The reason there is so much congestion is because motorists cannot get to there destinations as quickly as is safely possible due to:

1. 24hr bus lanes with no 24hr bus service
2. Sticky-out bus stops
3. Traffic lights - EVERYWHERE! Many of them pointless to run 24hrs (Tesco Eastville roundabout, Jacobs Well Rd roundabout, Temple Quay roundabout, Old Market etc etc)
4. Banned left-turns (Hockeys Lane, Blackswarth Rd etc) for no reason
5. Banned right-turns, for no reason
6. Closed Roads (Highwood Rd) for no reason
7. Reduced speed limit (EG proposed 20mph limit) implemented under the disguise of 'safety' - (accidents and causalities actually went UP under the current 20mph trial scheme)
8. No affordable, convenient and effective alternative to the car

Address the above and i'm 100% convinced that congestion in the city will improve."”
