Last day for Nailsea's Woolworths
Jeans costing 60p, children's T-shirts at 75p and bags of sweets were among the final goods to remain on the shelves in Nailsea's Woolworths store.
The shop took over the former Kwik Save supermarket in the High Street in October 2007 – but after just 16 months of trading is due to close its doors for the final time tomorrow.
There were still a few shoppers visiting the store over the weekend in the hope of bagging a bargain to beat any of the high street sales.
CDs, kitchenware and homeware and children's toys were all on offer.
Town centre trade bosses in Nailsea have voiced fears about the future of trade in the town following the closure of Woolworths.
Other stores in Nailsea, including Rosebury's in Somerset Square, have also closed in the last 12 months.
