Kingswood couple assaulted near taxi rank

A man and a woman were assaulted near the taxi rank in Regent Street, Kingswood.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incidents that happened between 2am and 3am on Saturday.

The first victim, a 25-year-old woman, was helping taxi marshals resolve an argument, when she was punched in the face by a man.

The second victim was a 22-year-old man who was also punched in the face.
