We had a cracker bringing snow to Bristol's Crow Lane
HENBURY's Crow Lane turned into Snow Lane when it was transformed into a winter wonderland.
A snow machine covered the area with a blanket of white on Monday night as Father Christmas and his elves dropped in for an early visit, handing out presents to excited children.

Youngsters from Blaise and Henbury Court primary schools gathered under the street lamps to sing Christmas carols together, and a band from Henbury School played festive tunes while local people munched munch pies and drank mulled wine.
The Christmas cracker event was organised by the Safer Bristol Partnership, which involves the police, Bristol City Council, local traders and residents, to bring together young and old people from Henbury and Brentry in a community party.
Cheryl Coles, a Safer Bristol community safety officer who helped organise the evening, said: "This was the third year we have held the Christmas cracker event at Crow Lane. The last two were a great success, where local residents, young and old, really celebrated the season of good will."
"A key aim of the party, apart from having a good time, is to prove that Crow Lane isn't just about crime and anti-social behaviour, but is the main focal point of the community.
"We really hope the event will help increase community participation and engagement, and spread the message of community spirit."

“Shame that we didn't hear about this in some of the neighbouring areas as it would have been nice to pop along and see it”
