Two in court over Bristol street attack
Two men are due to appear before Bristol magistrates in connection with an attack in Totterdown which left a man fighting for his life.
Ross Excell, 24 and Vincent Ferguson, 27, both from Bristol, have been charged with assault causing grievious bodily harm.

A 25-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the assault has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A 27-year-old man was discovered lying unconscious in Stanley Hill, Totterdown, at 6.30am on Tuesday.
The victim, who has not been named, was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary by ambulance where his condition remains critical but stable.
