Yate Town make perfect start
Troy Budd led the way with four goals and Jack Cutler was also on target for last season's champions, who scored all their goals before the break and were happy to see out the second period with few alarms.
Yate had opened their campaign with a 2-1 victory over GFA Under-18 Shield holders Cadbury Heath.
The match started in explosive fashion with Yate scoring in the first minute through Cory Simpson and Heath equalising two minutes later. Budd's free-kick on the half- hour mark settled the outcome.
Sam Winfield and Sam Lee fired leaders Oldland Abbotonians to a 2-0 victory over Gala Wilton – their third straight win.
Dave Herbert and Danny Dean were the marksmen for Winterbourne United in a 2-2 home draw against Thornbury Town.
Almondsbury celebrated a first outing on their new pitch in style by beating Longwell Green Sports 4-1.
Alex Tanner, Nathan Tunbridge, Henry Greenbury and Ashley Knight scored for Almonds, with Josh Carter netting Longwell's consolation goal.
