A sex attacker in Bristol has struck again - for the fifth time.

Four women are reported to have been attacked.

Avon and Somerset police said those attacks happened in the Whiteladies Road and Alma Road area.

Police said the attacks happened during the evening and early hours of the morning.

In each case lone women have been approached by an unknown man who has then indecently assaulted them.

At a police press conference held in Cotham today, near the scene of the latest attack, detectives urged women to be vigilent.

Supt Ian Wylie said that there will be an increase in police patrols in the area.

Anyone with any information about the assaults can contact detectives on 0117 945 5562 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
