Ajax coaching treat for Bristol youngsters

About 50 young Bristol football fans were yesterday specially invited to a football clinic where they were they put through their paces by some of the Ajax coaching team, as well as getting the chance to meet the Ajax team.

Ajax, who were in Bristol following their 4-0 defeat of Bristol City in Wednesday's pre-season friendly, braved the wet weather to meet the football fans at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex on behalf of their shirt sponsors AEGON. Ajax manager Martin Jol was on hand to meet the youngsters, and there was half an hour where all the children were invited to get autographs and take photos.

The children were then invited to take part in a football session organised by the Ajax first-team coaches

"It's great to come down to meet the kids and get them playing," said Jol.
