The top three contenders in the Remedies Bar Motocross Championship – John May, Andrew Gillett and Seb Osborne – clash again in the fifth of the 14-round series at Kingsteignton, near Newton Abbot, on Sunday.

May is ahead of Gillett on points after the latter damaged his exhaust system in the two previous rounds at Torrington in Mid-Devon over the Bank Holiday weekend.

But Osborne, from Didcot, won all three races in Monday's event at Waggadon Farm, which means that no quarter will be asked or given in all three 25-minute events on the Whiteway Barton circuit which affords excellent viewing facilities for spectators.

The North Somerset Club have a full entry for their two-hour timed and observation trial at Fairy Hill, Compton Dando the same day.

Leading experts in action include Jeremy and Tim Walters, Paul Manning, Ade Dark and Tom Smith.

More than 70 are expected to take part in the Bath Classic Club's trial in Folly Woods, Easterton Sands, near Devizes, on Sunday, including many who took part in the three-day Exmoor trial in Devon and Somerset over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Ricky Wiggins, who leads the South West Centre Championship, travels to South Wales for the third round of the National Championships at Aberdulais near Neath.

The Yeovil rider is currently second in the Grade B expert class and he needs only three more points than Yorkshire's Sam Ludgate to head the points table.
