Yate host Paulton in Southern League Cup

Paulton Rovers tonight make the short journey to Yate Town for a first-round clash in the Southern League Red Insure Cup.

Manager Andy Jones will start Kane Ingram and Matt Cooper, who were both cup-tied for the FA Cup victory over Chippenham Town on Saturday, along with Paul Milsom, Josh Hemmings, Sam Wade and Rob Cousins.

Yate manager Dave Mogg also intends to give his fringe players a chance to shine.

● Mangotsfield United host Premier Division Merthyr Tydfil in the Red Insure Cup.

United manager Phil Bater is hoping club skipper, and central defender Scott Hendy is given the all clear to play again despite still having his arm in plaster.

Defender Rob Smith and Ryan Bennett are both doubtful, but Bater is hoping that Lee Collier will be fit after an ankle injury.

● Clevedon Town are at home to Somerset rivals Frome Town, with their manager Nick Tucker looking for his side to get back to winning ways after slumping into the relegation zone.

Clevedon have doubts over Lee Molyneaux, Ben Evans (ankle) and Danny Wring (groin), while youngsters Jamie Adam and Sam Moore have been called up to Somerset College's representative side.
