Tucker tips new Clevedon Town coach to make 'big difference'
Gough, who is currently coaching at Merthyr Tydfil, will take up his new duties after the two teams meet at the Hand Stadium on Tuesday.
"David ticks all the boxes and will make a big difference to the backroom team and on the pitch with the players," said Tucker.
On-loan Weymouth player Matt Townley is in the squad for tomorrow's game at home to Hemel Hempstead, who have yet to win away in the league this season.
Townley is to stay at Clevedon for another month.
With regular goalkeeper Tony Court still struggling with a dead leg, Mangotsfield United boss Phil Bater will stick with Sam Alexander, who had an impressive game in Tuesday's 3-0 win at Taunton Town, for the match against Thatcham at Cossham Street.
"Sam is only young but he is a really good goalkeeper and could have a very bright future," said Bater.
Jack Allward (shoulder) and Mike Trought (knee) will have late fitness tests, but Danny Spill (knee) joins Court, Martin Paul and Lee Collier on the sidelines.
Yate Town boss Dave Mogg is vowing to make changes for tomorrow's match at Hungerford Town, the third meeting between the sides in the space of eight days.
Tuesday night's dismal 3-0 defeat in the FA Trophy replay in Berkshire followed a 1-1 draw at Lodge Road last weekend.
"There are at least three players who will pay for their performance on Tuesday and I'll be looking for a big response," said Mogg.
Defender Ed Vahid is doubtful with a hamstring injury, Mark Reynolds is suspended and Sam Duggan is still out with a shoulder problem.
